  1. Turn on the iron by holding the Power Button until the temperature lights turn on.
  2. Adjust the temperature by clicking the Power Button. 
  3. The fan setting will turn on automatically once the set temperature is reached. To manually turn the fan off, hold down the Fan Button.
  4. Separate hair into sections. Place a small section of hair into the plates.
  5. To straighten, gently close the plates over the strands and allow it to glide through from roots to ends. 
  6. To curl, gently close the plates over the strands and twist as you glide.
  7. Use the Fan Setting while curling for powerful airflow that leads to lasting styles. HydraAir™ Cooling Vents release air to hydrate hair and set your style.
  8. When finished, hold down the Power Button until the lights turn off, then unplug once cooled.
  9. Slide the Lock Button to close and secure.
