PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR FHI HEAT MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE ONLY IF YOU HAVE A VALID RECEIPT FROM A PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY SALON OR OTHER SELECT AUTHORIZED BEAUTY PRODUCTS RESELLER OR IF YOU PURCHASE THE PRODUCT FROM WWW.FHIHEAT.COM WEBSITE. THE WARRANTY IS NOT EFFECTIVE IF THE FHI HEAT STYLING TOOL WAS PURCHASED FROM ANY SOURCE NOT LISTED ABOVE, INCLUDING ANY INTERNET RESELLER OR AUCTION SITE.

FHI Heat™ (“we”, “us”, or “our”) warrants all of its styling tools (styling iron, blow dryer, curling iron and wireless razor) against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from original purchase date (“Warranty Period”). If we receive a valid claim, we will repair or replace with product of equal or greater value at our option. Please note that all authorized returns will be shipped from you to us at your cost and any replacement products will be shipped from us to you at our expense.

This warranty DOES NOT COVER physical damage and normal wear and tear such as shorts in the power supply cord or plug, or excessive product build-up on the plates or scratched or damaged plates (in case of styling irons), or damage due to accident, misuse or abuse such as: dropping (broken housing, broken hinges, loose plates, rattling noise, etc), wrong voltage supply (including use of the tool in a country other than where it was intended to be used), or neglect in safety precautions or regular maintenance; or any tampering or modification such as repair or attempted repair by unauthorized person, or use of unauthorized attachments.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE A CLAIM: If product fails to operate properly under normal use because of a covered defect and you are still within the Warranty Period, then please contact FHI Heat at 877.344.4328 to obtain a Return Authorization Number and return instructions for all warranty related matters. We WILL NOT process any returns without a Return Authorization Number. We are not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF WE CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM OR EXCLUDE IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THEN TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE ANY CLAIMS UNDER SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL EXPIRE ON EXPIRATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD. WE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDE, AND WE WILL NOT PAY, ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR THE BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY, AND WE ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITIES FOR YOUR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY OTHER INCONVENIENCE OR CONSEQUENTIAL EXPENSE.

HOW STATE LAW APPLIES: This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
