Gaudi. Picasso. Dali. For more than a century, Spain’s artists have been synonymous with the most original and daring visual expressions in the world. FHI HEAT recently joined this history of stunning innovation at Barcelona’s COSMO BELLEZA, considered Europe’s most avant-garde venue for beauty and fashion professionals.

As the highlight of the COSMO BELLEZA program, runway fashion shows featuring Spanish designers called upon FHI HEAT Artistic Director Les Haverty to summon the spirit of some of Spain’s legendary artists. “I was inspired by the concepts of Barcelona’s architecture, and by the surreal paintings of Salvador Dali,” says Haverty, “for a look that’s modern, yet sensuous, using twisting, organic shapes. This sensibility is uniquely Spanish, but has universal appeal.”

Les also represented our brand to launch the new FHI HEAT European pavilion, and trained sales managers, stylists and staff as part of our partnership with the prestigious DOLS of Spain team, which now distributes our Nano Salon Pro 2000 dryer, the Platform SE, Platform 1.25 and Platform 1.75 styling irons, as well as our signature styling medium, muy caliente HOT SAUCE.
